1964 United States Uncirculated Kennedy Half

1964 Gold Plated Kennedy Half Dollar.
90% Silver and 24K gold plated. Sold by the Franklin Mint, this one lost its display case years ago. This is easily a grade MS63 coin.

1964-D Colorized Kennedy Half Dollar. 90% Silver. Not sure what the story is behind these colored coins. They are real Kennedy halves, but a company named APMEX (maybe) colorized or sold them colorized or both. Looks like some of the color is flaking off on the front. Reverse looks pretty good. If you don't have one now's your chance. If nothing else it is in excellent condition. Ignoring the paint, I'd grade it at MS63.

1964 Kennedy Half Dollar. 90% Silver. Lots of luster. No wear to speak of. I'd grade it MS63.

T6-1.jpgSeries 1935A One Dollar Silver Certificate with HAWAII overprint. Very good condition with no tears or heavy creases.

A Hawaii overprint note is one of a series of banknotes issued during WWII as an emergency issue after the attack on Pearl Harbor. The intent of the overprint was to easily distinguish US currency captured by Japanese forces, in the event of an invasion of Hawaii, and to render the bills useless.
