T12-1.jpgA PAIR OF QUITE OUTSTANDING WOOD FRAMES WITH GILT LAUREL TRIM, MATTED ART PRINTS UNDER GLASS:  At 26"x26", these lovely pieces have a matted area which would require a 15.5" x 15.5" print or original artwork to fit inside.  I would really buy these for the wood frames rather than the art which is simply a print.  But you may fall in love with the art or you just love blue - whatever works for you!!!  Professional framed and with heavy-duty hangers.  I spent two hours trying to decipher the signature, with no luck.  But for prints, it does not matter that much,l only that you love the artwork...or you can't live without the frames!

T20-1.jpgSAMSUNG FOUR PAIR 3-D GLASSES FOR TELEVISION VIEWING:  Model SSG-5100GB.  As with any electronic item, you will have to do your due diligence, i.e., your own homework, to see if what is in the box is complete, if this product is compatible with your tv, etc.  Here is what I found for the advertisement for them:  "Watch your entertainment come alive with Samsung’s 3D glasses. Featuring the fit-over design, which is perfect for users who already wear glasses, these real 3D glasses with their stylish design will be noticeably more comfortable and will deliver an even better 3D experience. And with a battery type for extended viewing, which lasts up to 150 hours, you can now sit back in total comfort and enjoy as much 3D TV as you like. It’s the 3D experience you’ve always wanted."  THE BOX APPEARS TO BE NEW, THERE IS NOTHING ON THE BOX THAT INDICATES ANYTHING ELSE THAT SHOULD BE INSIDE EXCEPT THE FOUR PAIR OF GLASSES.  These sold for about $66 when new, but they are now $99 for four pair.   However, when I looked at the SOLD AT AUCTION PRICE, the listing included batteries.  Here is more info on batteries and compatible tvs:
  • 70 hours of 3D Viewing Per Battery (for Two CR1620 Batteries)
  • Compatible with all D, E, EH, FH, ES, F, and H series Samsung 3D TVs

T21-1.jpgVIKING ART GLASS CO. Epic Leaf/Cabbage Leaf, in "Spring Blue" (1980s), 12 1/2" tall, 3" wide:  Frosted/Satin cabbage leaf foot.  Swung glass.  What a pretty thing.  Viking Glass is the newer name of the New Martinsville Glass Company, an American manufacturer of decorative glass products. It opened in 1901 in New Martinsville, West Virginia. The company was renowned for the use of color in their glassware. They initially made tableware but quickly expanded into vanities, bar ware, lamps, and more. They promoted liquor sets even through prohibition. The company was renamed Viking Glass in 1944.

Swung vases were created when the glassblower held the “gather” on the end of the blow pipe and, using a special tool swung the molten glass in a circle to elongate it. Some people call them “sling vases,” but that isn’t correct.  Some of the companies best-known for swung vases are Viking Art GlassL. E. Smith Glass Company and Fenton
